Palio di Siena

Get ready for the Palio! It's still early to talk about it, but not if you are scheduling your visit to Siena! The magic dates are Monday, July 2nd (Palio di Provenzano), and Thursday, August 16th (Palio dell'Assunta).



All the week before the event the city will be special, with trial and parades, but the day of the run you must be there, in the center of the square, and live the event as Siena people will. That's the only way to grasp the spirit of the Palio.
